Billy's Court Date

Well, today was a stressful day for us. We had court this morning at 9:00 for Billy's disposition hearing. We knew going in that probation was going to recommend a suspended sentence, but when it is all up to the judge you just don't know what's going to happen. Thankfully, court didn't take very long today. The judge did go along with probation's recomendations and Billy is on suspended sentence. He even said that if Billy is accepted into Job Corps, the court will agree to let him go and release him from probation at that point. That is an answer to prayer. Now, we just have to wait the 4-6 weeks for Job Corps to process his application and determine if he qualifies for the program.
