It's been a good weekend. Yesterday, Dozer decided to eat his kibble for dinner. That's the first time since before the surgery. I've been giving him a piece of bread soaked in chicken broth to get something on his tummy to take his meds. He ate his kibble again this morning before work. Starting this evening, he can go back to full servings of his food.
You can tell that he's starting to feel better. His tail is wagging with more energy and he isn't doing all of that moaning that he was doing last week. It's been a long week...
Dozer goes in this evening to have his fentanyl patch removed. At that point, he'll just be taking the Rimadyl for pain. We're moving forward... One more week and we're back to normal.
