Billy got the phone call this evening from the temp agency that he was laid off from EMS. They said that they were entering their slow period. Why would they hire someone to work them for 2 weeks and then lay them off for the slow period. That makes no sense to me.
Poor kid. He was just getting comfortable with all of the machines and how to run them.
