This should be interesting. Traci called Bill this evening to find out when we're going to reschedule Billy's birthday dinner. Now, Billy is 18 years old and didn't bother to call us to cancel the last dinner. Traci called for him to let us know that he had a job interview. And now she's calling again to schedule the next one. (Does anyone but me see how silly this is? Isn't Billy supposed to be an "adult" now?) Bill told Traci that it isn't going to happen this week and that if Billy needs to talk to him about that, he's more than welcome to call.
Then, Traci was telling Bill that Billy still doesn't have a job and is still being horrible to everyone in the house. He's "destroyed" their carpet. (I have no idea what that's all about.) And he's calling Traci at work and cussing her all the time. Bill asked her why she wasn't hanging up on him when that starts. There's no good answer to that question.
SO...
It looks like Doug and Traci have given him a deadline of October 22nd to get a job and get things in order to get out of the house. Traci says that Doug is being much nicer than she is and that she's ready to put him out right now. But, Doug thinks that giving him a 30 day notice will make a difference. (I disagree.) Traci says that Billy is still claiming that he'll move back in with us if they kick him out. That should be interesting. Billy won't even talk to us on the phone at this point. It's curious to hear that he thinks that we're going to welcome him with open arms because he's made such a mess of things at his mother's house.
